In the Beginning
June 1, 1975
About 10 families who were member of C.S.I. Immanuel Church, Uppilipalayam gathered with fellow believers and formed the Coimbatore Distict Christian Welfare Association. The Prayers of this Association led to the formation of C.S.I. St. Peter’s Church.
First step
June 1, 1980
Christian Youth Fellowship was formed. Trustees who were primary members of this fellowship, took efforts and registered the present church premises in the name Diocese. This is the First Step of C.S.I. St. Peter’s Church.
Humble Beginning
January 1, 1984
Rev. Gunabalan inaugurated the Church Shed following the directions from Bishop to start Evening Services and to function as a ancillary of C.S.I. Immanuel Church, Uppilipalayam. In the self same day, Fr. Mani from Rathinapuri R.C. Church unvieled the nameboard.
Cornerstone for the First Church
June 1, 1986
Bishop. Thangamuthu prayed and laid the cornerstone for a Church to be built.
New Church Founded
June 1, 1987
C.S.I. St. Peter’s Church was instituted as a separate self-satisfied Pastorate. Rev. Wilson Premkumar assumed the office as the New Presbyter and Chairman.

Rev. W. Samuelwho lead the construction of the Old Church building (present Parish Hall) took in-charge as the New Presbyter and Chairman.
Construction of Old Church
June 1, 1990
Under the Leadership of Rev.W.Samuel, it was decided to construct a New Church (present Parish Hall). So, a temporary shed was erected in the place of current Dining Hall and the construction for the Church Building (90 x 35 sq.ft structure) was started at an estimate of 10 Lakhs. A Borewell for Church’s Water consumption was also set inplace.

Church Dedication
September 4, 1994
The New Church(current Parish Hall) was dedicated on 04th September 1994, which was constructed at a cost of 10 Lakhs in a span of 4 years. The Rt. Rev. Tindan M.A., B.D., Diocesan General Secretary G. Koshi, Diocesan Treasurer Fredric Williams, and Bishop in Coimbatore Rt. Rev. William Moses graced the Ceremony.

Church Growth

By the Grace of God, the Church was overflowing with people, so It was decided to conduct two Services, One at 07:00 AM and one at 08:30 AM on all Sundays.

Infrastructure Developments
January 1, 2009
A Land worth 16 Lakhs covering an area of 70 Cents was bought at the area of Milekal near Madukkarai for the purpose of Burial Ground. A Generator worth 3 Lakhs was installed to provide back-up power during Church Service.

New Church Dedication

The Rt. Rev. Timothy Ravinder, B.Sc., B.D.,ZD., dedicated the New Church and Presbyter’s house on 13th December 2014 (saturday), which was constructed on a budget of 3 Crore in a span of 2 years, purely by God’s Grace.
Construction of Dining Hall

Construction of a Dining Hall(instantiated as Parish Hall) annexing the Old Church(Present Parish Hall) was inaugurated by the year 1998. Rt. Rev. William Moses consecreated the New Dining Hall on January 2000 which was constructed at a cost of 10 Lakhs.
